Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Leola, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Mechanic, working first shift (6am - 2pm, Monday - Friday) with a pay range of $25-31/hr. In this role, you will support our production floor by maintaining and servicing equipment and machines essential for meeting production goals. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting equipment failures, and performing routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Hard Skills

  • Troubleshooting 3-phase motors up to 480v

  • Using testing equipment including multi-meters

  • Knowledge of 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems

  • Understanding of pneumatics

  • Experience in assessing operational state of equipment such as filters, oil, hydraulics, compressors, motors, pumps, plumbing, and electrical systems

Soft Skills

  • Ability to cover all emergency breakdowns and repairs promptly

  • Reporting equipment problems and acting as needed

  • Performing preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with a Preventative Maintenance Program

  • Ability to complete routine assignments without direct supervision

  • Maintaining housekeeping standards

  • Self-motivated with experience working in a manufacturing facility or similar environment

  • Ability to work safely following all safety rules and regulations

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Leola, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Work in a steel manufacturer building columns for steel racking systems. The environment has moderate noise levels and is somewhat dirty. The facility is not climate-controlled, so temperatures can vary depending on the time of year.
