Covenant Health SOCIAL WORKER BS LEVEL in Lewiston, Maine

JOB SUMMARY

Community Clinical Services, affiliated with St. Mary's Health System, is seeking an organized, self-motivated person to provide case management services to children with emotional or psychiatric diagnoses as part of the Behavioral Health Home Organization. The BHHO is a team approach to case management and provides improved care coordination and access to services that address both mental and physical health, as a whole person approach to wellness. This person will function as part of an interdisciplinary team and will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients.

Education/License

  • 4 year / Bachelor’s Degree, License / Certification – Preferred – Adult Case Manager

  • 4 year/bachelor’s degree in social work or related field Child Case Manager

    Experience

  • 0-1 Year

  • For Adult BS Level Social Worke r-MHRT /C upon hire, bachelor’s degree is preferred

  • For Child BS Level Social Worker - LSW/LSX preferred but not required . Can have a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.

  • One year previous experience with child and/or adolescent preferred

    Skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to work efficiently as part of a treatment team

  • Requires good problem-solving, organization, and time management skills
