Description

We are an organization that provides solutions around automobiles and similar devices, located in Lewisville, Texas. We're seeking a Cloud Architect who is well versed with Azure Cloud Solutions to join our team. The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing a variety of cloud platforms, Azure primarily, in conjunction with on-prem services that support our multiple application stacks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement technology strategies and roadmaps in collaboration with Data architects, Applications architects, and Enterprise architects.

• Maintain enterprise-level architecture through the stages of planning, design and execution of all new platform buildouts.

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of solutions for cloud migration, application migration, and cloud data security.

• Ensure all cloud solutions and deployments align with our enterprise architecture strategies and standards.

• Review existing architectures to identify technical deficiencies and design gaps and create actionable recommendations for cloud migration and enhancements.

• Communicate effectively both orally and in written format to customers, peers, and management across the organization.

• Balance both the long-term outlook and short-term implications of decisions.

• Update the technical system architecture requirements based on changing technologies and knowledge related to recent, current, and upcoming vendor products and solutions.

• Collaborate with other members of the IT teams.

• Produce and update documentation on infrastructure configuration, maintenance runbooks, and monitoring baselines.

• Comply with all IT and Information Security policies and procedures.

Requirements • Proficient in Cloud administration, with a focus on implementing and maintaining cloud-based systems.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including its suite of services and infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Enterprise, including deployment and troubleshooting.

• Experience in Application migration, specifically with migrating systems and data to cloud-based platforms.

• Expertise in PowerShell scripting for task automation and configuration management.

• Proficiency in using Ansible for IT infrastructure automation.

• Skilled in using Terraform for building, changing, and versioning infrastructure.

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, including setup, administration and troubleshooting. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
