Infinite Electronics International, Inc Forklift Operator in Lewisville, Texas

Position Description:

The Forklift Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for efficiently handling the receipt, storage, and shipping of products and materials. This role invoices operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move inventory, process orders and maintain accurate records. The associate will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure timely shipments and accurate inventory management.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Breakdown and re-palletize products to adhere to specifications.

  • Arrange domestic and international freight when needed.

  • Load and unload containers.

  • Pick materials for sales orders, Label, sort, wrap, and pack shipments.

  • Loading and unloading trucks – inspect incoming shipments and record shortages.

  • Assist with stock checks and physical inventory.

  • Daily use of Forklift to move inventory.

  • Perform daily unloading and staging of all inbound materials.

  • Storing and stacking materials according to company standards.

  • Utilizing power and manual lifts as well as transfer equipment.

  • Verifying/identifying parts and/or materials; reporting shortages or damaged materials.

  • May perform tasks such as stock checks, inventory, and shelf/rack stocking.

  • Unloading, moving, and storing a variety of materials, parts, and products.

  • Assisting with a broad range of warehouse tasks, utilizing forklifts, pallet movers, manual pallet jacks, and carts.

  • Conducting put-aways of received products and picking orders from warehouse inventory.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be Forklift Certified and have at least 2 years’ experience.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Excellent work reference for reliability and work ethic.

    Personal Traits and Characteristics:

  • Attention to detail – Ensures accuracy in handling shipments, inventory, and order fulfillment to avoid mistakes or damage

  • Safety – prioritizes workplace safety, follows safety protocols, and operates forklifts and other equipment responsibly

  • Dependable, reliable and punctual

  • Ability to thin quickly and resolve issues that arise during daily operations, such as damaged goods or equipment malfunctions

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Forklift Certification from an accredited training program

Reports To: Logistics Warehouse Manager

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Sitting: Must be able to sit for a minimum of 2 hours

  • Walking: Throughout the facility continuously

  • Lifting/Carrying: Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Climbing: Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.

  • Vision: Corrected 20/20 vision required

  • Talking/Hearing: Must be able to communicate on the telephone.

Environment: Onsite warehouse environment, occasionally hot or cold temperatures, moderate noise level, occasional dust, chemical odors
