Morehead is the home of the University of Kentucky Rural Physician Leadership Program (RPLP). Each year 10 medical students are accepted into the RPLP program where they spend the first two years on campus in Lexington with the larger class and their third and fourth years in Morehead with University of Kentucky community-based Faculty using Saint Claire Regional Medical Center (SCRMC) as their inpatient facility.Major Responsibilities of this position include comprehensive Obstetrics and Gynecology practice and participation in teaching activities with medical students. Development and participation in educational and community activities and involvement in hospital and university committees is strongly encouraged. Experience and enthusiasm in teaching and supervising medical students is desirable. OB/GYN Call is 1 in 4 weekends and 1 in 4 weekday calls• Teaching 3rd and 4th year Medical students.
