We are in search of a Chief Operating Officer to oversee the daily operations of a small law firm, located in Lexington, Kentucky. This role will focus on enhancing operational efficiencies, managing risk, tracking key performance indicators, and ensuring compliance within the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes within the firm.

• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Monitor and optimize workflow to improve operational performance.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and insights within the firm’s operations.

• Implement data-driven decision-making processes to improve business outcomes.

• Define, track, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success.

• Analyze KPI data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

• Identify and assess operational risks and develop mitigation strategies specific to the industry.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, ethical standards, and firm policies.

• Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the firm.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to achieve their full potential.

• Promote the firm’s core values and ensure they are upheld across the organization.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or a role with related responsibilities

• Proven expertise in Cloud Technologies is required

• Demonstrated proficiency in CRM and Database management

• Experience with EO/IR systems is a significant asset

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential

• Knowledge of 'About Time' software is a plus

• Must be adept at handling Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Budget Processes is essential

• Must be capable of ensuring Compliance in all operations

• Prior experience in C-Suite level roles is essential
