A client of ours in the automotive manufacturing industry located in Frankfort, Kentucky is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team. This position will lead and manage all aspects of the manufacturing operations, including production, planning, scheduling, maintenance, engineering, quality and warehouse. This role is responsible for ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive benefits and salary package.

salary: $112,000 - $120,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and optimizing operations to achieve targets for sales and profit, safety, productivity, and on-time delivery.

• Allocates resources effectively and fully utilizes assets (4M) to produce optimal results, while avoiding unnecessary costs.

• Develops and maintains systems to track metrics and effectively manage performance to targets.

• Promotes collaboration between Sales and Operations to market products and improve profit margins.

• Analyses performance, develops improvement plans, and facilitates cross-functional collaboration to eliminate wastes and implement lean manufacturing practices.

• Maintains favorable working relationships with employees through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement, efficiency, and effectiveness.

• Promotes and supports Site Safety, Environmental and Quality programs and ensures all safety rules, policies and procedures are followed throughout the site.

• Leads and directs Site management staff and employees to maintain compliance to JSOX, NIMS/CLC, and IATF standards, and all federal state and local laws.
