Job Title: Microvellum Draftsman

Job Description:

The Microvellum Draftsman is responsible for creating precise and detailed programs, shop drawings, and submittals. This role supports the Production and Project Management teams by ensuring accurate and efficient project execution.

Skill Set:

• Willingness to learn and work with multiple programs

• 2-3 years of AutoCAD experience

• Preferred 2 years of Microvellum experience (training available for exceptional candidates)

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Team player capable of working independently or collaboratively

• strong problem-solving and time management abilities

• Familiarity with AWI industry standards

• Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam

• Programming experience with Biesse is a plus (training available for exceptional candidates)

salary: $47,840 - $60,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

 Manage multiple projects simultaneously

 Use Microvellum to provide and maintain accurate shop drawings,

submittals, per customer specifications

 Provide a take-off of materials and coordinate with the Procurement

department

 Use 2D and 3D drawings to communicate product details to improve

fabrication and decrease field labor, assembly time, and complications

 Provide in-line quality assurance, final optimizations package, and review

overall project with the team prior to releasing for production

 Independently run Microvellum cabinet software for material optimizations

and send custom products for the CNC router and beam saw

 Create work production releases for the commercial casework department
