Insight Global Risk and Reliability Engineer in Lexington, Kentucky

Job Description

Day to Day:

The Risk and reliability engineer is responsible for key EH&S, Quality, and Risk-related audit events involves performing risk evaluations, reviewing Risk Survey Reports, and recommending actions based on engineering judgment. This role includes managing regulatory inspections of company assets, maintaining inspection records, and ensuring assets are in good working order or advising on their condemnation if necessary. Supporting an asset lifecycle management program, assessing operations for proper maintenance, and aiding in project scope and cost estimates are also key tasks. Additionally, the role involves organizing project teams for Risk Management projects, advising on asset maintenance, writing and reviewing global standards, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Other duties may be assigned by Valvoline as needed. Minimum salary starting at $110,000 annually.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

BA's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

10+ years of experience working within reliability plant work and project execution

  Increasing operational reliability, uptime of the equipment, improve preventative maintenance programs, creating and establishing processes for current equipment to be utilized in the most effective ways.

Understand regulation and instructing sites on the topics of electrical safety, fire protection, spill prevention, construction best practices.

Reliability engineering experience with pumps, packaging lines/conveyer lines, tank inspections, and other general plant reliability.

Self-sufficient, confident, leadership personality Plusses:

Work experience with third party insurance companies, and API inspectors

  API inspection certificate

PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)

Project Management Certifications null
