The Edinburg Center Town Clinician in Lexington, Massachusetts

TOWN CLINICIAN

Pay Rate $60K to $70K

Commensurate with experience & licensure

Who You Are:

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field required.

  • Independent licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts preferred.

  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience.

  • Experience working with youth and families.

  • Experience with diverse populations and a range of mental health issues.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Strong knowledge of youth and adult serving systems.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings as needed.

  • Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    What You Will Do:

  • Assessment and Consultation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and provide consultation to clients and their families.

  • Therapeutic Interventions: Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities.

  • Provide both in-person and virtual appointments to accommodate diverse needs and preferences to Individuals aged 5 and above.

  • Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support and intervention during mental health crises.

  • Specialty Services: Demonstrate clinical experience in areas such as court and probation work, substance use disorder, anxiety, depression, family dysfunction/conflict, grief, loss, and relationship issues.

  • Make referrals as appropriate to provide access to psychopharmacology, psychological testing, day programs, emergency assessments, and other clinical services as appropriate.

  • Educational Workshops: Facilitate monthly workshops on topics such as decluttering support, bereavement, art therapy, and mindfulness.

  • Client Support: Promote the service within the community and identify individuals who may benefit from the services.

  • Clinical Groups: Create curriculum for and deliver therapy or psychoeducational groups based on Town need.

  • Meeting Attendance: Attend Town Staff Meetings and Edinburg Outpatient Staff Meetings as appropriate.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Document progress notes for all sessions in the Electronic Health Record System. Submit detailed utilization and statistical reports to the Director of Human Services by the 10th of each month.

  • Collaborate closely with the Town to establish efficient scheduling processes and a no-show policy.
