Sullivan County Personnel Department Home Health Aide in Liberty, New York
Overview: The Sullivan County Department of Public Health is seeking Home Health Aides
The Home Health Aide position is semiprofessional work involving the provision of personal care to sick, disabled or aged persons at their place of residence. The duties of this position are designed to provide the incapacitated person the opportunity to convalesce at home. The actual duties performed are ordered by a health care provider and in compliance with the New York State Department of Healths matrix of permissible and non-permissible activities for the provision home health aide services. Assignments and care plans are developed and implemented by a Registered Nurse. Employees will work in close cooperation with and under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Certification of successful completion of a New York State established or other training program that meets Federal requirements of 42 CFR 484.4.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Possession of a valid Motor Vehicle Drivers License.
SALARY: Entry: $39,474; Full: $41,552
