The Manager, E2E Planning is responsible for:

  • Leading E2E Planning team to execute E2E planning process (E2E Sense and Respond, E2E Scenario Planning, Supply Chain Optimization, and Synchronize Network)

  • Delivering service/inventory performance across end-to-end global value streams with direct accountability for E2E planning activities and product flows across value streams from suppliers, to manufacturing facilities, through to delivery and/or consumption of product by end customers

  • Leading and developing E2E planning team.

  • Adheres to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supply Chain Optimization

  • Drives a robust process and drumbeat to manage business rules and planning parameters (including safety stocks and inventory targets), transportation lanes, replenishment methods, and process tolerance and triggers to enable an input driven E2E Planning process based on current supply chain capabilities.

  • Delivers on Supply Chain key Metrics including $ Inventory holding, Plan and Schedule Attainment, Back-order and OTIF.

  • Develops a culture of accountability around maintaining these key supply chain inputs (both within planning and with other key functions) that reflect actual performance as it exists in the current state

  • Develops and leads implementation of optimization of supply chain capabilities (e.g., reduce lead times) to further improve the supply chain

  • Ensure demand and inventory management systems are maintained and continuously improved to achieve state of the art business process technology.

  • Maintain and develop relationships with all key functions on site to optimize supply chain flow.

Supply Chain Synchronization

  • Manages execution of the E2E Sense and Respond process, ensuring deviations/alerts from defined tolerances are actioned and escalated (as needed) as defined by process inputs.

  • Represent Plan within the STEM process.

  • E2E brings the commercial/impact view; responsibility for ‘actions’ depends on individual issue.

  • Manages multi-echelon recovery planning efforts for a value stream

  • Evaluates the multi-echelon impact of supply disruptions and recommends prioritized actions to resolve and balance all relevant trade-offs. Leverages Scenario Planning capabilities as required

  • Periodically evaluates options to optimize the E2E value stream within the current SC infrastructure

  • Drives communication through S&OP/IBP processes to ensure cross functional alignment on proposed optimal scenario and ensures S&OP/IBP decisions are implemented

  • Builds and develops a high-performing E2E Planning team

  • Ensures E2E Planning team engagement in S&OP/IBP Processes to provide transparency of risks and opportunities to drive profitable trade-off decisions.

  • Drives implementation of best practices in E2E planning. Utilizes process excellence/six sigma tools to drive continuous improvement of E2E planning processes

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • MBA or equivalent preferred.

  • Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS/IBF) desirable.

  • 8 years related experience

  • Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) & Advanced Planning Systems (OMP) is preferred

  • Ability to develop, coach and guide a team of planners and team leads in the execution, strategies, and realization of departmental and company goals.

  • Ability to coach & develop accountable, diverse, and global leaders who inspire and motivate others.

  • Ability to build strong collaborative teams and relationships, leading cross functional/virtual teams where required.

  • Ability to communicate clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms.

  • The ability to influence Director & VP Levels within the organization and at all levels both within the Supply Chain, and a matrix environment.

  • Ability to drive & apply continuous process improvement tools and improvements to large and complex projects

  • Demonstrates strong decision-making ability in a multiple scenario environment

  • Utilizes business acumen and financial acumen to drive E2E decisions & key outcomes

Other:

  • This position will require up to 10% travel.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
