Position Summary

The IMS Vendor Performance Manager is responsible for setting up, monitoring and evaluating the performance of new and existing vendors within IBS for Marketing Services and in close colaboration between corporate procurement, the function and the services recipients. This role involves, preparation of a new service line launch / support in the related contractual negotiations with a new vendor, analyzing vendor performance metrics, identifying areas of improvement, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations. The IMS Vendor Performance Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining strong vendor relationships and optimizing vendor performance to enhance overall operational efficiency whilst optimizing the related cost base. The IMS Vendor Performance Manager purpose is to create competitive advantage and business value to the group by benchmarking and sourcing innovation opportunities from external providers. Lead strategic review of current Vendor's delivery model and performance. Ensure successful contract delivery in line with IBS targets related to Marketing Services.

A day in the life of...

1- Lead the cross functional teams in preparatory phases prior to a new service line launch:

  • Develop sourcing strategy with IBS Vendor Performance Manager and Procurement for current and future 3rd party vendors

  • Advise procurement in pre-contract period and during the contract's period if the needs/constraints have changed

  • Support the negotiation providing guidance on business objectives, impacts and constraints

  • Work closely with Service expansion lead on development and launch of new services.

  • Work closely with Interoperability and network optimization lead on strategic footprint planning for NBS centers, including strategic planning and assessment of alternative scenarios in case of contract expiry with existing provider or new contract definition

  • Align with Procurement on the contract structure & design to align with IMS strategy.

2 - Monitoring and evaluating the performance of new and existing vendors within IBS and in close collaboration between corporate procurement, the function and the services recipient:

  • Monitor and evaluate vendor's performance against established SLAs, key performance indicators (KPIs), and contractual obligations.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of vendors, identifying areas of improvement and recommending corrective actions, addressing concerns and providing feedback.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as procurement, finance, and operations teams, to ensure vendor compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

  • Develop and maintain vendor performance scorecards and dashboards to track and report on key performance metrics.

  • Analyze vendor performance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues impacting vendor's performance and develop action plans.

  • Coordinate with vendors to establish performance improvement plans and monitor their progress.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize vendor performance

  • Manage risk of compliance and delivery linked to 3rd party partner vendors

  • Provide standard framework, processes and tools for vendor and contract management

  • Partner with suppliers to roadmap capability optimization (i.e. innovation opportunities) and manage their development

  • Lead strategic review of current Vendor Delivery Model & holistic delivery performance versus IMS priorities

What will make you successful

  • Languages: Perfect fluency in English (both verbaly and written)

  • Minimum 3 years Experience in Procurement (direct or indirect materials)

  • Demonstrated experience in implementation of sourcing strategies

  • Experience on strategic planning to drive contract decisions

  • Demonstrated successful use of risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationship management

  • Knowledge and understanding of different Delivery models and governance models

  • Knowledge of Marketing/Agency Services are an advantage

  • Basic Program/Project Management Experience is an advantage

  • Focused on result and on implementation of the right processes and governance

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing Process, Responsible Sourcing and SRM Framework.

  • Business and Financial knowledge: Key business drivers, budget, forecasting, etc.

  • Macroeconomic situations and evolution, Cost drivers of spend category in charge

  • Contract Management Best Practices / Supplier Agreement

  • Good negotiations and Influencing skills
