Note that this vacancy is Remote, but our candidates must be based in Portugal.

The role:

Searching for a senior systems engineer with skills in Python to join a new DevOPS team with objective to re-design and develop a Linux based automated deployment and configuration framework for large scale multi-country usage. The objectives are to create secure new Linux based OS platform, large scale deployment & configuration framework and emphasis of automated management including execution to support automations. The activities include hardware integrations – such as receipt printers, scanners – and software integrations for automation, fiscal and payment.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding, designing and developing of secure solutions for Linux based automated deployment & configuration.

• Developing, improving, documenting and maintaining automation tools.

• Integrating of hardware and software.

Requirements:

-5+ years of experience in

• Large scale infrastructuresLinux based operating systems

• Working and troubleshooting Linux based solutions

• Developing and maintaining automation and familiarity or skills in Python

-Security design awareness

-Fluent in English, written and spoken.

-Nice to have:

• Linux based operating systems

• Open source tools and integration of them into framework

• Scripting and programming languages (python, shell scripts/bash, JavaPOS/UnifiedPOS...)

• Git/GitLab

• Automation, installations; SaltStack, Ansible, Jenkin.
