About the role

Our Procurement Data Operations Team, composed of 12 people, is integrated in the Service Line Department and focuses on managing and maintaining the data in collaboration with the Purchasing and Finance Service Lines.

As a Vendor Data Operations Representative/Specialist, you will work on maintaining the group vendor database, ensure the application of validations including the approvals by authorized people, and be responsible for the necessary controls on sensitive information to support Procurement within the company. You will get the opportunity to contribute to our Global Business Services in Lisbon and have a positive impact on the Solvay Group.

You will be accountable for:

• Maintaining the group vendor database (within SAP environment)

• Maintaining specific tables to support procurement transactions (within SAP environment)

• Ensuring the application of validations including the approvals by authorized people

• Managing sensitive information (eg. supplier bank details)

• Working on continuous improvement projects, process efficiency, and data quality

• We offer a 12-month fixed-term contract based on a hybrid working mode.

About you

• Relevant education degree or equivalent in Purchasing, Accounting or Information Technology

• Relevant work experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Procurement

Competencies:

• Fluency in Engish (other languages are a plus)

• Experience in procure-to-pay is a plus

• SAP and Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel is a plus

About the pay and benefits

• Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Portugal) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 1200€ gross a month, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
