Position Overview

Navistar International Corporation is a leading North American truck manufacturer with great products, a strong market position, and best-in-class distribution networks.

We are seeking a Process Consultant to Join our team! The Process Consultant will support our Parts Distribution Center (PDC) network providing data analytics, running special projects, and being functional experts in systems and processes related to the PDC network.

This is a hybrid opportunity located in Lisle, IL.

Responsibilities

• Plans, performs, and implements process improvement initiatives using LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies

• Maps and evaluates existing processes

• Organizes, leads, and facilitates cross-functional project teams

• Business Stakeholder for several systems including WMS, ERP, and various online applications and order portals with oversight over the following: end user testing, business requirements validation and codes administration

• Develops metrics and operational data tools (Power BI analytics and dashboards) that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities

• Assists in the measurement of performance against process requirements, KPIs, and align improvement initiatives to performance shortfalls

• Supports and assists the network with the root cause and corrective action process for problems resolution

• Performs cost and benefit analyses

• Provides report outs on measurement, analysis, improvement, and control measures

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• At least 5 years of process improvement, lean or six sigma experience

OR

• Master’s degree

• at least 3 years of process improvement, lean or six sigma experience

OR

• At least 7 years of process improvement, lean or six sigma experience

Additional Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

• Experience with Power BI, SQL, and Access databases

• Experience in the Business leveraging information technology or systemic solutions

• Experience leading crossfunctional teams

• Project management experience

• Excellent overall leadership capabilities, skill sets, and core competencies

• General knowledge of PDC operations, systems, business flows and Company policy/procedures

• Excellent computer skills which could include ERP, WMS, TMS, Database and architecting

• Intermediate to Advanced level proficiency with MS Office

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
