We are currently seeking aServerto join our community-s team.Casual and Full-time positions available!
Position Description: Deliver meals and beverages to residents in the dining room during set mealtimes and provide residents with an exceptional dining experience. The position involves independent and team responsibilities involving the setting of tables, stocking service stations (ice, napkins, silverware), and clean-up of the dining room (change table linens, wipe down chairs and vases). Dishwashing may be a part of shift rotation.
Successful servers ensure resident satisfaction:
Making sure each resident has the tools needed to eat their meal.
Providing meal alternatives.
Delivering a meal that not only accurate according to order but well-presented and appetizing.
Being knowledgeable of menu items including daily specials and special diet accommodations.
Qualifications: Experience serving in a restaurant setting preferred. Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; auditory and visual skills; ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift items weighing 50 pounds or less; satisfactory completion of post-offer, pre-employment physical as required.
