Job Overview:
Perform adult and pediatric echocardiographic studies including M-mode, 2-D, Doppler and Color Flow Imaging. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Graduate
Echocardiographer must be board eligible at time of hire
BLS
Pediatric experience
Experience in Cardiac ultrasound; M-mode, 2-D, Color Flow Imaging, and TEE
Experienced in diagnostic care procedures
1-3 years Diagnostic Cardiac testing, CPR
Preferred:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire
Scheduling Requirements:
Shift working, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Monday - Friday
Full Time
May require travel to West Orange location
