Confidential Employer Assistant Property Manager in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania

Assistant Property Manager responsibilities include:

  • Building positive relationships with staff members, prospective and current tenants

  • Showing properties to prospective tenants, answering relevant questions, and processing tenant applications

  • Basic bookkeeping and processing of accounts payable and receivable

  • Manage tenant accounts, rent collections and tenant notices

  • Create and distribute marketing materials to attract new tenants using online outlets

  • Maintain organized and updated resident files and records

  • Follow weekly and monthly checklists

  • Report any problems or issues to the property manager

  • Fill in for Property Manager when they are unavailable

Requirements and skills

  • Valid PA driver's license

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Basic computer skills including Word programs. 

  • Understanding of basic accounting principles

  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

  • Bending/lifting 30 lbs

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
