Job Title: ArchitectJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated architect to manage various multi-million dollar K-12 educational projects for school districts across IL. Responsibilities include attending initial client meetings, participating in early design concepts, schematic designs, design development, construction documentation out to bid, construction administration, and project close out.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Lombard, Illinois and some days remote.

Work Environment

Our company is a medium-sized architecture firm that specializes in K-12 projects in the Chicagoland area. We don't just work on classrooms; we design a wide range of educational facilities, including libraries, auditoriums, sports facilities, and more. We handle renovations, additions, and new construction projects. Our team size is 42, and we typically work 40-45 hours per week based on workload. We offer a hybrid work arrangement with Monday to Thursday in-office and remote work on Fridays. We have an open office layout with a lively atmosphere, where team collaboration is encouraged. We also have a large cafe used for lunch and weekly lunch & learns. We offer bonuses 2-3 times a year, a competitive 401K match, and a 75%/25% match for health insurance. As part of our team, you'll also be entitled to 2 weeks of accrued PTO and 6 federal holidays.
