CBRE Research’s subscription-based data platform provides premier market intelligence and differentiated access to rents, yields and other market analytics that power forward-thinking commercial real estate strategies. The outputs give real estate investors and occupiers access to insights on market behaviors to inform their biggest real estate investment and location decisions. Growing our subscriber base has been a priority at CBRE in EMEA for 15+ years, and we are seeking an Account Executive with client care skills to ensure deeper market penetration.

The ideal candidate will be required to use client care and development skills to connect with existing clients to diagnose their needs for expanded services; to direct research enquiries to appropriate analysts; and ensure clients are satisfied with their current service. The role also requires identifying and prospecting new clients across the region with a focus on investment management, private equity, rating and banking sectors.

Successful candidates must be able to maintain high level of communication across the regional / global stakeholders about prospecting workflows, fee schedules and revenue progress.

Responsibilities:

Develop a pipeline of prospects and cultivate win-back opportunities to meet or exceed annual revenue targets

o Field and pre-qualify inbound inquiries

o Demonstrate sensitivity to existing Client Care relationships as defined by EMEA/global regions and other data sales colleagues

o Develop demand generation communications in conjunction with management

o Conduct in-person and web-based presentations to senior level executives.

• Become proficient user of CBRE research data platforms

o Conduct client demonstrations and training.

• Investigate needs, present quotes, obtain commitment from prospects

o Leads new agreement negotiations under management supervision

o Maintains accurate and up-to-date information in Salesforce to report progress.

• Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan with help from CBRE Research leadership

o Manage the creation of marking collateral and tools to increase sales

o Recommend and implement changes to advertising and website data marketing

o Evaluate and measure marketing campaign results.

• Leverage event lists, association lists, etc. as sources for contacts/connections

o Engage in industry and professional associations for the purpose of creating new contacts and generating new business.

Other Duties:

• Report sales efforts bi-weekly to leadership

• Update Salesforce with key contacts, activities, opportunities, and notes

• Setup contracts and process orders for client access and billing

• Promote additional products and services within CBRE Research including Investment Consulting

• Work as an integrated member of global and regional Research team

• Collaborate on regional, national, and global mandates.

Required Qualifications

• An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in management, marketing, or a related discipline

• Three plus years’ work experience in a fee earning sales / business development role

• Experience in data sales or research in a consultancy, investment management, banking or finance would be an advantage but not critical.
