As an Associate Director Compliace you will monitor changes to laws and regulations to ensure compliance with laws, legislations, regulations, licenses, certifications, accreditations and mandates. The Associate Director Compliance is essential for ensuring best practices across UHG affiliated companies registered in UK & Ireland to promote compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations. Working alongside the Compliance team you’ll have the opportunity to develop compliance communications and drive problem resolution for a business. Working Schedule :

This is a full-time position with standard working hours of Monday to Friday, occasional after-work hours may be required to support operational needs.

Careers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements and individuals who live and work London will have the opportunity to split their monthly work hours between our Paddington office and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model.

Primary Responsibilities of the Associate Director Compliance:

• Own an end to end compliance processes.

• Develop compliance programmes and provide support for functional, market level, and/or site strategy, plans, production and/or organizational priorities.

• Identifies and resolve compliance technical, operational and organizational problems outside own team.

• provide compliance advice and input for product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact entire functions and/or customer accounts (internal or external).

Required Qualifications of the Associate Director Compliance:

• Have a minimum educational background/Experience - LLB in law or equivalent, Master degree or relevant work experience

• The ability to Implement and Drive Adherence to Compliance Programs

• The skills to facilitate Compliance with Applicable Laws, Regulations, Mandates and Contracts

• Have proven Knowledge of Business and Industry Processes, Policies and Procedures

• Previous experience Identifying and Analyzing Compliance Issues and Managing Risks

• The confidence to communicate and Report Compliance Status and Issues.

• Training and Consulting on Compliance Program Requirements and Risks
