Amazon Claims & Revenue Protection Manager, Amazon Shipping in London, United Kingdom

Description

Amazon Shipping is looking to hire an experienced Senior Manager in the Shipper Management Team to own monitoring, streamlining and improvement of our claims processes as well as other aspects related to revenue leakage.

You will help design and shape processes, practices, engaging and influencing multiple Operations stakeholders to build a shipping service provider which our customers love.

This position is based out of our London Corporate Office, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon’s current flexible work guidance. Amazon encourages open communication about unique needs for flexible arrangements.

Key job responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advocate and influencer, collaborating closely with shippers, cross-functional partner teams and key stakeholders.

  • Improve critical operational metrics by designing and implementing new processes and partnerships with the Business, Product, and Operations teams.

  • Develop structural plans and routines to ensure all strategic and tactical initiatives are delivered on schedule and to the expected standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • A degree

  • Relevant experience in the shipping/logistics industry

  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions

  • Experience in driving team engagement, collaboration, and cross-functional coordination

  • Relevant experience in driving significant change management initiatives at all levels of a department, including creating business strategy and planning

  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)

  • Experience interacting with and presenting to C-suite and senior executives.

  • Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Prince2 certifications, or any other project management certification

  • Relevant experience in outlining programme roadmaps, including anticipating bottlenecks and balancing business needs against technical and operational constraints
