Do you have a passion for Concierge and providing exceptional service in a luxury setting? Then The Park Tower Knightsbridge, a Luxury Collection Hotel has an exciting opportunity for a Concierge to join our team.

As Concierge you will:

Be a key member of the Concierge and Front of House team within the hotel, reporting to the Head Concierge. You are the face of the hotel and are here to welcome and give a positive arrival and departure experience. It is your job to ensure that great memories are created for all our guests during their whole stay. While the guests will be spending their stay in and around the hotel, it is the personal interactions they will mostly remember and this is central to your role.

As a member of the Concierge team, you play a proactive role in welcoming guests and using the guest's name whenever possible. You must supervise the Porters to ensure a smooth check in process is in place. Collaboration with other departments is key to making the guests' stay as comfortable as possible.

Your key duties involve having an excellent knowledge of the local area including attractions, transportation systems, theatre, tourist sites, sporting activities, shops and restaurants.

Key Tasks you will carry out:

  • Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (e.g., transportation, reservations, dry cleaning) by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers.

  • Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction.

  • Gather, summarize, and provide information to guests about the property and the surrounding area amenities, including special events and activities.

  • Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.

  • Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Luggage Porter, Housekeeping) as necessary to resolve guest call, request, or problem.

  • Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks.

In general you will report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

You will have previous experience of working as a Concierge or within a Concierge team in London.

Personality is the key to our roles, as is a genuine passion about people. You will have a welcoming personality; have excellent communication and presentation skills; be a team player and pride yourself on delivering exceptional service with genuine warmth. Excellent command of the English language is required.
