As a Documentation Engineer you are responsible for gathering and reviewing technical content to support the creation and maintenance of documentation and illustrations to meet the demands of our customers and for supporting local and remote engineering teams in the management of engineering change. You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplined and global team, located in Huntingdon, UK.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Using your technical knowledge and experience to support local and remote teams in the creation and delivery of customer facing materials for the operation and service of Videojet products for industrial printing applications.

• Providing support for the introduction of new products for sale along with managing changes for those products.

• Working with engineering and cross-functional project teams to support product launches and on-going improvements.

• Reviewing and interpreting engineering data for use in documentation and engineering changes.

• Hybrid week with between 2 and 3 days at the office in Huntingdon.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Relevant experience or qualification in technical communications, engineering, science or similar topics

• Experience in the development, use and review of technical content and documentation

• Experience of working with and understanding engineering drawings (2D and 3D) and CAD tools

• Experience of using databases, ERP systems or other computer programs for key data entry and/or engineering change processes

• Experience of working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, effective at multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines
