This role will report to the Head of Marketing and brand and be responsible for developing the annual events strategy, working with the broader marketing team and business to deliver best in class events for the business.

London based, with occasional travel to our key UK office locations and events.

Your new role: what is involved?

  • This newly created role will be responsible for developing the annual events strategy, including client and industry events in our London and Birmingham offices.

  • Agreeing the flagship events calendar and budget with the business and sector leads

  • Clearly defining and communicating the events strategy and process internally

  • Developing event plans with the business stakeholders to ensure objectives and outcomes are clearly defined from the outset.

  • Leading the delivery of the flagship events, from booking the venues, organising invite lists, and pre and post communication to clients. Developing messaging and content for the events, event briefings, management on the day, post event evaluation.

  • Marketing and communication of the event to key stakeholders/clients on social media and website

  • Collaborating closely with agreed vendors and suppliers to deliver the best outcomes.

  • Working with internal graphics and admin teams to help deliver the content, assets, bookings, and catering.

  • Events reporting on ROI and learnings.

  • Continuously innovatively and finding exciting new ways to deliver best in class events (externally and internally)

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Experience in managing many stakeholders, vendors, suppliers, and ability to manage multiple projects.

  • In-depth understanding of digital marketing channels and events tools

  • Strong understanding of data management, GDPR and PECR regulations

  • Someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy team with multiple deadlines.

  • A degree or equivalent education

  • Energy, enthusiasm, and innovative thinking

  • Drive and obsession to understand clients and markets.

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Budget management experience

  • High level of creativity

  • Strong organisational skills
