Finance Business Partner

The role acts as the main point of contact with the finance teams and other Operational stakeholders in EMEA region to gain an understanding of overhead management, including actual, forecast and budget.

Assist the Finance Manager - Overhead in the preparation of the central overheads and supporting schedules. Provide backup to the central finance team when needed. Preparation of monthly financial reports using Reporting Services (RS), Business Analysis and other reporting tools.

Maintenance and reconciliation of overheads recharges, including posting accruals and prepayments. Liaising with Cost Centre Budget Holders and other stakeholders in a monthly basis.

This role is based at the CBRE GWS London Head office, working hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Posting segment specific overheads and accruals/prepayments to overhead cost centres.

• Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations related to Overhead cost centres.

• Taking ownership running overhead process (journals, ISM. PO, Invoices, accrual memo) to improve legacy processes, challenging current procedures, and driving efficiencies.

• Business Partnering with Central Finance teams.

• Communicating, preparing, and recharging intercompany (including ISM) costs across CBRE entities.

• Communication of key overhead updates to the Finance teams (EMEA wide).

• Assist the Finance Manager – Overheads Stakeholders and other upper manager level contacts to prepare the analysis for budgeting & planning.

• Assist in the preparation of SOX requirements and Audit queries.

• Ad hoc analysis and reporting. Proactive use of the business information to add value to CBRE

Person Specification

• Preferably ACA/CIMA or ACCA qualified

• Use of MS Excel to an intermediate/advanced level

• IT skills to lead, process and report developments to achieve key tasks, and to give the business a sound reporting base.

• Good communication skills enabling the individual to work with senior stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and staff to all levels and abilities.

• Ideally worked in a large matrix organisation
