Amazon Generative AI Program Manager, Workforce Staffing in London, United Kingdom

Description

Amazon's Workforce Staffing team is seeking an experienced and innovative Generative AI Program Manager to drive the development and deployment of cutting-edge generative AI solutions. In this role, you will lead cross-functional projects to design, implement, and manage generative AI programs that revolutionize how Amazon attracts, hires, and nurtures top talent.

Key job responsibilities

• Define the strategic vision and roadmap for Amazon's generative AI initiatives within the Workforce Staffing domain, aligning with the organization’s strategy, goals, and business objectives.

• Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to conceptualize, develop, and roll out generative AI solutions for various cross functional processes, and use cases such as AI assisted meetings, document writing, conversational AI coaching, inspection, reporting, and adhoc analysis.

• Collaborate closely with legal, privacy, and policy teams to ensure adherence to GDPR, GenAI regulations, and other relevant laws and guidelines, particularly within the European Union.

• Drive the ideation, prototyping, and iterative improvement of generative AI models, ensuring they meet stringent performance, fairness, and ethical standards.

• Oversee the implementation of generative AI systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing staffing workflows, tools, and platforms.

• Establish robust governance frameworks, risk management protocols, and compliance measures to ensure the responsible and ethical use of generative AI technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including legal, privacy, and policy teams, to navigate regulatory landscapes and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

• Conduct extensive testing, monitoring, and evaluation of generative AI solutions, measuring their impact on key performance indicators and continuously optimizing their effectiveness.

• Evangelize the benefits and capabilities of generative AI within the Workforce Staffing team and across Amazon, fostering adoption and driving cultural change.

• Manage project timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring the successful delivery of generative AI initiatives within defined constraints.

• Curate, create, and conduct Generative AI training and education video content, documentation, templates, and lead live training sessions

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience in program or project management

  • • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.

  • • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex AI/ML programs, with a strong focus on generative AI technologies or relevant technical program management experience

  • • Deep understanding of generative AI models, techniques, and algorithms, including natural language generation, image synthesis, and code generation.

  • • Familiarity with AI ethics, fairness, and responsible AI practices.

  • • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

  • • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business narratives.

  • • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • Experience leading process improvements
