The People Team
The People Team provides support to all 450+ colleagues across finova. People Business Partner
About you:
You are a true HR generalist with proven experience, ideally gained within scaling tech/fintech company/start-up (this isn't essential)
You will be passionate about the colleague experience at finova and you will feel comfortable collaborating with other members of the team and wider Group
Experience of working in a Business Partnering model
Employee engagement and L&D experience preferable
Superb communication skills and the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels
Proactive and pragmatic, and not afraid rolling up their sleeves to getting things done
Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial
Resilient and adaptable, and can support ongoing change and growth
Great attention to detail
You will be a team player
Knowledgeable about UK employment laws and HR best practices
What you will be doing:
Working closely with business leaders and line managers to build their people capability
Be the trusted advisor for a wide range of people-related initiatives and projects
Managing complex employee relations matters
Influencing and building relationships with people around the business
Creating a culture of continuous feedback on performance and talent management and provide support and coaching to employees and managers
Implementing and facilitating the end-to-end employee lifecycle from onboarding to performance assessments and pay reviews to offboarding; with an emphasis on creating a positive, nurturing environment for colleagues
Overseeing and ensuring the effective running of People Operations including; payroll and benefits, managing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers to improve our employee value propositions
Working together with the People Team to review and refine group people policies and procedures to ensure company compliance
Working to continuously improve Employee Engagement across the group, including the management of pulse surveys to gauge success and driving engagement initiatives
Be a driver of our values to promote a positive workplace culture
Own our HR systems, data and controls and provide accurate HR analytics and reporting to senior stakeholders; applying a data driven approach to guide senior management on key employee areas of concern from turnover to diversity
