We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional HR Business Partner to join us in a leadership position within our UK Services Division.

Job Purpose:

Working within a small People Team, the People Business Partner is a key member of the Divisional People team responsible for advising and coaching Line Managers in areas such as absence management, employee relations, performance management, Talent, Engagement and organisational design.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive generalist HR service to the business including coaching support and advice with disciplinary, grievance, attendance and all consultation matters. Highlighting areas of risk and non-compliance of HR processes and policies to Divisional People Lead.

  • Working closely with Business Units on mobilising and management of TUPE transfer in and out of the business in accordance with the CBRE TUPE policy and current pension legislation.

  • Work with the sales and operations teams in supporting new business tenders, including attending client and Trade Union presentations, when necessary.

  • Support talent management by ensuring the appropriate sourcing of incumbents against key existing and new roles and coaching line manager into developing talent.

  • Manage the provision of Divisional monthly management reporting including analysing Health Scorecards % reporting.

  • Audit the accuracy of the People Data held in our systems on a regular basis to ensure accuracy, seek corrections where required

  • Working with the business on engagement plans

  • Working closely with Centres of Excellence to implement CBRE GWS People strategies

  • Other projects and responsibilities as identified by the Divisional People Lead including supporting the delivery of the People transformation strategy.

  • Ability to quickly build solid relationships with managers in each business unit in order to establish trust and confidence.

  • Ability to operative closely using a consultative influencing style to assist line managers how they should implement policies and procedures.

  • Ability to deliver a reactive service whilst operating proactively

  • Ability to plan and organise workload effectively

  • Effective and persuasive communication

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work in a highly commercial environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Numerate and computer literate.

  • Comfortable working with data and MI, including auditing for accuracy on a regular basis

  • Coaching experience/qualifications

  • Experience of working in an Ulrich business partner model

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of coaching models and implementing

  • Up to date employment legislation knowledge

  • Intelligent risk analysis with a solutions focus

Experience:

  • Experience of implementing workplace planning

  • Experience working in a Global and matrixed organisation

  • CIPD Qualified or equivalent

  • Operational HR experience at manager level

  • Extensive experience of dealing with disciplinary and grievance matters and comprehensive knowledge of employment law and its application in business.

  • Strong Generalist HR experience in a commercial environment.

  • Experience of senior level recruitment,

  • Experience of working with, presenting to and influencing senior managers

  • Experience or Knowledge of TUPE

  • DISC/SHL qualified

  • Experience of working in a outsourcing organisation

  • Large organisational design projects including redundancies

  • Experience or knowledge of dealing with Trade Unions

Circumstances

  • Able to travel across the UK, as required. (predominately London)
