What you will do:

As the Installation Project Director for our Integrated Solutions Business, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex, multi-discipline projects from inception to completion. You will oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of integrated solutions, a passion for excellence, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement.

How you will do it:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:Lead, plan, and execute complex security installation projects, including defining project scope, setting timelines, and allocating resources. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans that meet customer expectations and align with organisational goals.

  • Team Leadership:Direct and motivate a team of project managers, commissioning engineers, technicians, and contractors. Ensure clear communication, foster collaboration, and support team development.

  • Financial Management & Budget Control:Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met in line with set KPIs and commercial agreements. Approve expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide regular financial reports to the General Manager.

  • Quality Control:Establish and enforce quality standards for all installation and commissioning activities. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.

  • Risk Management:Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies early through regular review meetings. Respond to project challenges in a proactive manner, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines, financial objectives and key deliverables.

  • Client Relations:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle at a senior level. Maintain strong client relationships, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.

  • Compliance and Safety:Ensure all projects comply with relevant legal and safety regulations. Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular audits to mitigate risks. Quarterly H&S meetings with your team ensuring that safety messages are received.

  • Reporting and Documentation:Prepare and present detailed project reports to the General Manager, including progress updates, financial summaries, and post-project evaluations.

  • Continuous Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements.

What we look for:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on integrated solutions.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large, complex projects.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficient in project management software and tools.

  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred:

  • PMP or similar project management certification.

  • Experience with Johnson Controls' products and solutions.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
