Aston Carter Corporate Controller in Long Beach, California

Job Title: Corporate ControllerJob Description

Manage a comprehensive array of financial functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, timekeeping, and cash receipts. You will be responsible for the preparation of statutory reporting requirements and facilitating all external audits (financial, tax, statutory). Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and both team and organizational budgets versus actual expenditures. In coordination with the CFO, establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a biweekly, monthly, and annual basis. Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards, and enforcing internal controls to maximize protection of company assets. Oversee the accounting department, streamline the procure-to-pay process, provide clear reporting to business operations, collaborate with external auditors for compliance with all regulations and GAAP, manage cash flow, identify and implement updates for accounting and payroll processes, analyze financial reports to support business applications, and oversee Trade Union monthly processes. Your leadership will support and enhance the productivity and trust within the accounting team.
