We have an outstanding career opportunity for aTube Welderto join a leading Company located in theLos Alamitos, CAsurrounding area.

Salary: $60,756.80

This position will assist in the successful fabrication of Bellows and Components Assembly. The Tube Welder A shall be knowledgeable in all aspects of fusion welding and able to produce Class A-C welds required by customer and company specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must be able to set up and operate All Stake Welders for Bellows and Components.

• Must be able to set up and operate All Draw Welders for Components.

• Weld metal thicknesses from .006"-.180".

• Develop new welding schedules for welding machines as required by shop management or manufacturing engineering.

• Direct and advise major maintenance on welding equipment.

• Capable of identifying and correcting weld defects according to production standards and/or welding specifications.

• Perform at acceptable levels of quality and productivity on all welding assignments.

• Will read, identify, record from blueprints, pick lists, and x-ray numbers for traceability documentation per job requirement.

• Responsible for assisting the department in the development of techniques to increase productivity, quality, and throughput of products and to share job knowledge in the department.

• Will maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, FOO-free fashion and adhere to all Safety standards.

  Basic Hiring Criteria:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• 2 - 3 years of experience operating machine fusion welders.

• Must be able to set up GTAW processes.
