A growing Medical Organization is in the need of a Medical Payment Poster. The Medical Payment Poster will be responsible for an accurate application and posting of medical payments, adjustments, and denials into the management system. The Medical Payment Poster will play an integral part of the medical billing team and the candidate must have experience with lockbox.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately post payments, adjustments, and denials into the practice management system.

• Ensure correct entries by using lockbox and electronic remittance advice.

• Analyze and resolve payment discrepancies and perform necessary adjustments.

• Review explanation of benefits for accurate payment or denial reasons.

• Work cross-functionally with billing and coding teams to correct and repost any corrections.

• Research and resolve unapplied payments.

• Follow and comply with federal and state laws in all aspects of payment posting and reporting.
