Seeking an energetic and motivated Physician Assistant to join our growing Ears Nose & Throat Division! Our team currently has 8 Physician Assistants and 16 ENT Physicians. The Physician Assistant role will consist of outpatient clinic duties delineated below. The Physician Assistant will also facilitate admissions and transfers from other hospitals, triage calls and handle messages in PA in-box. You may also assist in the operating room in the future.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• See patients in clinic, perform comprehensive physical examinations, and compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination

• Administer or orders diagnostic tests, such as imaging, and laboratory tests, and interpret test results for deviations from normal

• Perform therapeutic procedures such as endoscopic evaluations, injections, suturing, suture removal, ear wax removal, incision and drainage procedures, and wound care

• Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care

• Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens

• No OR.

• Other duties may be assigned.

PA's in the group can expect to have lots of autonomy after being fully trained. You will have your own panel of patients (16-18 per day) and collectively provide full support to the physicians in the group. The office structure is generally one PA for every two to three surgeons.

Office Hours are from 8am to 5pm but will participate in lectures which start at 7am. Must be flexible and work after 5pm as needed.

Must be flexible to work in multiple locations around the Beverly Hills area plus occasionally in Marina Del Rey and Torrance.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

• Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant studies

License/Certification requirements:

• National Certification as a Physician Assistant

• BLS and ACLS Certification required from the American Heart Association

• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification required

Experience:

• Physician Assistant experience in a relevant clinical area, e.g., family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, allergy, pulmonology preferred.
