Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

As a Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and redesigning the existing control systems, transferring from Docks to Linux, and handing off to the panel shop. Your tasks will also include cost estimation for control system design and retrofits, electrical/control panel and motor control center (MCC) design, and retrofit designs. You will also be responsible for spec-ing parts, preparing and building BOM’s, troubleshooting customer issues via telephone as needed, and following asphalt processes. Furthermore, you will play a significant role in building and running the Electrical Engineering department as the company works to roll out a brand new industry-leading control system product.
