GE Appliances is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Materials Team, supporting Plant Operations in achieving plant and product line Hoshin goals. This role will play a crucial part in inventory controllership across multiple plant locations and contribute to driving efficiency and profitability throughout our operations.

How You'll Create Possibilities

  • Supports Plant Finance team to estimate and maintain product cost standards across Appliance Park.

  • Provides inputs on Make/Buy analysis for insourcing and outsourcing of parts.

  • Performs weekly reviews with Plant Materials to discuss cycle counts, obso, negative inventory, RIP QMI for multiple plants.

  • Partners on cost-out opportunities. Enables plants to be efficient producers and analyzes programs to maximize payback.

  • Works with operations/quality to reduce scrap costs.

  • Defines and executes financial operating routines such as weekly & quarterly estimates, Operating Plan, monthly Balance Sheet estimates and Account Reconciliations for multiple plants.

  • Works with PFM to understand profitability as well as provide financial information to determine viability of NPI market introduction.

  • Costing new parts Standards throughout the year for multiple plants.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

  • 3 years of experience in financial analysis

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, while working independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous corporate finance experience in manufacturing.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with and experience implementing Oracle and Hyperion modules.
