We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Business Partner to join our team, playing a critical role in supporting our hourly employees and their managers during 2nd/3rd shifts. You will provide leadership, guidance and coaching regarding HR policies, processes and legal concerns that support positive employee relations. This position plays a critical liaison role as an employee relations specialist to foster and build positive relationships.

How You'll Create Possibilities

As the HR Business Partner, you will be the primary HR support for our manufacturing operations during the 2nd/3rd shifts. You will lead efforts to maintain a positive workplace culture, acting as a liaison between employees and management. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Employee Relations: Provide expert guidance and coaching to both employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and legal matters. You will be the go-to person for resolving conflicts, conducting investigations, and ensuring consistent application of company policies.

  • HR Support: Manage HR transactional matters and respond to general HR inquiries with sound judgment, escalating issues as necessary. You’ll collaborate with Plant Leaders to achieve business goals and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while coordinating with Health Nurses and EHS staff to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

  • Coaching & Development: Offer coaching and feedback to employees and management to drive initiative-taking performance and foster a positive work environment. You will help guide discussions and decisions related to employee performance and discipline.

  • Project Management: Lead and participate in HR projects that align with the site’s operational plan and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.

We are looking for an HR professional who is passionate about employee relations and creating a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have/be a:

  • Relationship Builder: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with leaders, employees, and co-workers.

  • Problem Solver: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify needs within the business that require HR support.

  • Effective Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer service mindset.

  • Flexible & Resilient: Capable of managing high volumes of work and adapting to last-minute issues. Willing to occasionally flex work hours, including 2nd/3rd shifts and/or weekends.

  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: A strong commitment to continuous improvement and goal-oriented results.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

  • At least 4 years of HR experience required; preferably in a manufacturing environment

  • Proven experience in employee relations, with a solid understanding of employment laws and regulations on a federal, state, and local level.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
