As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will be responsible for the processing of a mortgage loan to insure the loan meets our Agency and Compliance requirements. To better serve the customer, must have knowledge of the different products available. Work closely with the all parties involved to create and maintain complete customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesDaily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Gather and interpret data that support mortgage loan request, such as automatic underwriting findings, credit reports, income and asset documentation, appraisals and other requirementsAnalyze information for completeness, accuracy and acceptability of Agency guidelinesSubmit complete loan packages to underwriter for reviewDevelop ability to maintain timely processing of a loan package from receipt of file to closing with maximum timelines of 30 days for conventional loans and 45 days for government loansAware of product requirements to have the ability to negotiate the necessity of approval conditions that could be deemed unnecessary and a hardship to the customer to produceDevelop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Agency and Bank’s guidelines, rules and regulations pertaining to generating an acceptable mortgage loanKeep all parties involved with the mortgage transaction current and up-to-date with the status of the loan during the processAbility to provide complete and accurate HMDA reporting informationPerform other departmental duties as workload and priorities dictateAssist other mortgage department personnel when necessaryJob RequirementsThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications:High school/GED education1-3 years experience in FHA, VA, Conventional mortgage processing or underwritingAbility to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a teamComfortable communication with all levels of management and employeesProven knowledge of Automatic Underwriting Systems and Mortgage  Processing SystemsProven knowledge and experience pertaining to the processing of conventional and government loans              PC literacy with 35 WPM typing skillStrengths in problem solving and resolutionDetailed oriented and self motivatingStrong planning and organizational skillsGood oral and written communication skillsBenefits401(k) with a company match of up to 6%ESOP employer matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceCancer / Disease insuranceAccident insuranceFlexible Spending AccountsHealth Savings AccountsBank paid Life / AD& D insuranceVoluntary Life / AD&D insuranceBank paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insuranceEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
