Would you love to use your engineering experience to Help Realize Life’s Potential? Are you an Electrical Engineer who enjoys finding performance limits and working with a cross-functional product development team?
We seek an Electrical Engineer to support our Particle Counters and Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer product lines. The successful applicant will play a critical role in projects that support our current products and new developments in these product lines. Key technologies include laser diodes, optics, low-noise analog sensors, Ultraviolet oxidation, and complex software algorithms. Our products are used in the drug discovery and production industries.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Design of analog and digital circuits, including systems with microcontrollers and programmable logic devices.
Participating in new product development projects, including developing design requirements and verification protocols
Investigating and resolving problems requiring design expertise for existing product lines.
Designing and implementing test rigs and software for design verification and functional tests of electronics modules.
Supporting cross-functional development teams on projects to achieve successful design implementations.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
5+ years of experience in product development and product engineering support roles or 3+ years of experience with a master’s degree.
Experience designing analog and digital circuits, including signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility design principles.
Hands-on experience designing, assembling, and debugging lab-built prototypes.
Experience working on a team with multiple disciplines to create new products and solve problems identified in production and field instruments.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Dealing with design changes in a structured design control/change environment for medical devices.
Working with microcontrollers and programmable logic devices, including developing embedded code.
Using Cadence OrCAD and Allegro for schematic capture and board layout.
Programming with Python, C/C++, Hardware Description Languages like Verilog and/or VHDL, and LabView.
The salary range for this role is $110K-$125K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
