The Tax Accountant provides analytical support and technical assistance within the tax department as assigned. The Tax Accountant also provides general assistance to other members in the tax department on assigned tasks.

What Youll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
Prepares and submits for review federal pro forma income tax returns.
Prepares and submits for review state income tax returns.
Responds to correspondence with governmental revenue bodies under general supervision.
Completes the quarterly income tax provision and related computations.
Assists in the preparation of reports and regulatory filings.
Assists with the preparation of account reconciliations and forecasts.
Performs tax research for more senior members of the department/company in a wide range of tax specialties.
Assists with tracking tax incentive opportunities. Prepares a summary report of recommendations and findings.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank\'s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
