UNC Family Medicine at Tanglewood, an established practice in Lumberton, NC, seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. UNC Health Family Medicine at Tanglewood provides care for patients 13 and older. We provide a wide range of services from preventive care to management of acute and chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and asthma. We also have a convenient onsite laboratory.

• Clinic hours Mon-Thur, 8am – 6pm, Fri 8am – 12pm, seeing Primary Care and Same Day appointments

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.

Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible. Board certification if required by the Department.

Professional Experience Requirements: Experience as an APP required

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
