Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Inc. Process Technologist in LYNCHBURG, Virginia
We are an electronics manufacturing company dealing with circuit boards and components. We are looking for detailed oriented people to work on the manufacturing floor doing assembly work.
Function
This position performs manufacturing assembly processes to meet customer expectations while maintaining quality of product delivered in a timely manner. This position is under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform basic manual assembly operations (including taping, cable set-up, etc.)
- Be able to use advanced soldering skills to repair PCBs to the component level
- Read Bills of Material (BOMs) and drawing as specified by AMTI customers (will be trained)
- Read work instructions on every job performed
- Maintain AMTI ESD procedures at all times
- Training offered to those willing to work
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Soldering skills or ability/willingness to learn
- Ability to be cross-trained as required by business needs.
- Ability to work as a team member on a regular basis.
- Great attention to detail
- Good eyesight as parts can be very small in size
- Fast learner
- Pass background check
- Pass drug screening
- Reliable and willing to work
- Able to communicate effectively
- Accepts criticism and willing to learn from mistakes
