Eliot Community Human Services CBHC Clinician CCS, Fee for Service in Lynn, Massachusetts

We are devoted to creating and supporting services that remove barriers to services in the community, rather than in emergency rooms and institutional settings.
We are seeking a fee-for-service Clinician to work in our CCS program.
Responsibilities:
Provide side by side short term therapies and interventions to individuals that are evidence based, focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement.
Provide therapy interventions at CCS based on client preference, client need, and at the clinical direction of the CCS/CBHC Team.
Complete progress notes related to all contacts with individuals and collaterals on the day of contact.
Participate in daily huddles and Team Meetings including completing documentation prior to meetings.
Complete NOMS assessments as assigned, clinical assessments, and other documentation and required to meet CCS/CBHC/Eliot standards.
Complete treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families and other Team members as assigned.
Ensure that treatment goals are culturally competent, strength based, realistic, attainable and promote recovery.
Ensure that each individual is actively involved in their treatment planning process and their preferences are embraced.
Provide individual therapy to assigned clients and/or families within the context of the CCS/CBHC Team, treatment plan and EBPs approved by Eliot/CCS/CBHC policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Rehab Counselling, or related field or is licensed at the independent level in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; or a Doctorate in Psychology from an accredited university/college and licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Excellent diagnostic skills; competence in crisis intervention and engagement strategies.
Must be able to quickly establish rapport with wide range of clinical presentations. Knowledge of the vast array of community resources and how to access them.
Understanding of public and private health insurance plans.
Schedule: TBD, fee for service. Flexible hours.
Hourly Rate: $40/ hour
