Amazon is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Engineering Administrator that can drive innovation and execution in transportation networks. As a member of Amazon Logistics Field Engineering team you will be responsible for completing all period administrative tasks from a procurement and finance perspective but also to provide initiatives for optimizing and improving current processes. The role will be based in a Delivery Station and the location is flexible in the city available
Key job responsibilities
Execution of all project related purchase orders (POs) as well as follow up, modifications or cancellations (if necessary)
Tracking of all purchase orders in accordance with project schedules
Invoice management
Cost and budget control for EU wide Programs
Low priority / risk vendor management
Maintain risk and issue logs and change control records
KPI / metrics reporting – base data collation from various sources
Develop and support effective communication mechanisms between the project team
Responsible for PM department practice audits – methods, standards and processes maintained throughout the project lifecycle
A day in the life
You will plan and manage the administrative tasks that will enable the Field Engineers in the organization to accomplish the project milestones across EU.
Your day could include cross-functional engagement within the organization to make sure the end to end purchase cycle is properly completed. You will follow up and control large scale budget and be a key figure in the Program control , being able to innovate and propose new KPIs and processes that will facilitate the daily operations of the teams.

Basic Qualifications
BS degree in Business Administration, Information System, Engineering or related fields
Experience using Word, Excel, and Power Point, etc.
Customer service and project management experience
Experience within a procurement, finance and planning capacity
Knowledge of Microsoft Projects software
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Proven written, verbal and interpersonal skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the project engineering environment, specifically in the large scale Purchase Orders and budget
User training experience is desired
Must be self-driven, organized and be able to work in a fast paced team environment
