The Manager, HR Communications, is responsible for developing and executing effective communications to support people & culture initiatives and fostering a positive employee experience and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with HR stakeholders and People & Culture Communications team to develop, manage and implement strategic, creative communications campaigns using BMS branding and effective communication vehicles and channels.

  • Write, edit and design communications supporting our people and culture strategy to ensure clarity and consistency of HR messages that are accessible across learning needs and job roles.

  • Collaborate with HR subject matter experts to develop and communicate global HR policies, programs and initiatives to employees.

  • Support alignment of Global HR communications with the overall internal communications editorial calendar.

  • Lead end-to-end development and distribution of our HR community newsletter.

  • Manage HR distribution list (mail group), support HR-specific emails and proofread all HR communications.

  • Support logistics for global HR Town Halls, suggesting creative ideas to continually improve the events.

  • Utilize feedback from the employee “myVoice” survey to ensure colleague sentiments are being considered and HR communications are effective.

  • Help identify and utilize appropriate communication channels and consistent narrative to reach and engage employees effectively.

  • Support Total Rewards and People Services Communications as needed.

  • Support communication plans to support employee engagement initiatives, such as employee surveys, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5 years of corporate communications experience, ideally in a public company. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and engaging messages for diverse audiences.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Self-directed with proven ability to meet tight deadlines and in fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Strong project management, collaboration and people skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Experience in matrixed organization a plus.

  • Design skills and graphic capability a plus.

  • SharePoint site owner and content management experience a plus.

  • Technical writing skills with ability and passion for learning new complex topics and simplify them for varied global audience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing or related field.
