SLIPSTREAM Analyst II in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Job Location Hybrid/ Remote - Wisconsin Salary Range \$65,000.00 - \$75,000.00 Salary Travel Percentage Up to 10% Description We are seeking a Research Analyst who will play a key role in conducting research to quantify carbon and energy impacts of different energy efficiency, electrification, and decarbonization strategies. The Research Analyst role is part of our Research and Innovation Team where we study, develop, and test the next generation of energy solutions. Our ideal Research Analyst has some experience in conducting research and analysis using statistical methods and statistical programming languages. While this role is remote, our offices are in Madison and Chicago, and our current geographic focus of our work is New England and the Midwest, so locating to one of those areas would be an added plus. What you\'ll do: Conduct primary and secondary research on residential, community, and commercial decarbonization Implement research strategies for Slipstream in areas of expertise Serve as a technical resource for various teams throughout Slipstream Analyze research data, which includes gathering, cleaning, and applying statistical or econometric methods to a variety of data sources Develop and improve upon statistical analysis code in collaboration with the coding and analysis internal working groups Publish results in high quality journals or other significant media; develop policy briefs on behalf of the organization. Qualifications What you\'ll need: Bachelor\'s degree, or advanced degree preferred, in mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering, science, environmental studies, economics, policy or professional equivalent. 1-4 years of experience in related work.
