JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Office of Compliance advances compliance with applicable laws and policies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. We collaborate with University partners to minimize compliance risk and promote ethical conduct throughout the University. Compliance is a shared responsibility, with every member of the University understanding their responsibilities and being accountable for their actions. In response to the new digital accessibility regulations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, newly expanded Title IX regulations, increased Title VI enforcement, and other related federal compliance mandates, the Office of Compliance is conducting a search for a case manager to support new compliance functions. Reporting to the Associate Director of Civil Rights Compliance and Title IX Coordinator, the Case Manager is responsible for monitoring incoming reports of protected class discrimination and harassment, including sexual harassment and sexual violence, and other complaints. The Case Manager makes initial contact with potential complainants and provides them with relevant resources, reporting information and protective measures when requested. The Case Manager also works to provide necessary accommodations, explains policies and procedures, and is a point of contact during formal investigations.
