The Oracle Cloud ERP Technical Lead will apply their technical, functional, and leadership expertise to lead the delivery of technical project components efficiently. Responsible for the technical scope, this role involves close collaboration with customers and leading onshore and offshore teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Support sales activities, including technical discovery, solution design, and presentations.

  • Lead innovation within practice communities and cross-functional teams.

  • Apply industry expertise to drive customer success in transformational efforts.

  • Possess technical skills in cloud architecture, data migration, integration, reporting, and security.

  • Understand functional SaaS module concepts, processes, and workflows.

  • Exhibit leadership qualities like empathy, effective communication, influencing, drive, risk management and relationship building.

Responsibilities

The Oracle Cloud ERP Technical Delivery Lead is a multifaceted role that requires a combination of skills:

  1. deep knowledge in ERP Applications technology

  2. good understanding of SaaS functionality, processes, and capabilities

  3. strong leadership and management skills

  4. Foundational understanding of Cloud

  5. Oracle SaaS experience in Architecture, Data Migration, Integration, Reporting, and Extensions; including experience ERP Cloud inbound and outbound capabilities as well as reporting and extensions.

  6. Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering the above tracks

  7. Deep experience in integration in general, demonstrated knowledge in platforms (preferably OIC), integration patterns, security, and processes

  8. Experience in OIC, VBCS, Process Cloud, ATP

  9. Foundational expertise in security: IDCS and security standards, SOS, SAML, OAUTH, PGP, ..etc.

The tech lead is expected to apply their technical and functional expertise on the one hand, and leadership skills on the other, to ensure the successful delivery of all technical aspects of their projects. The tech lead is accountable for all technical items (scope) and works closely with the customer counterparts, and onshore and offshore functional resources, and oversees and directs the technical teams to meet commitments to our customers on time and within budget.

With the above facets in play, on a typical project, the lead is expected to conduct familiarization sessions, run workshops on all technical items, lead and develop technical strategies and architecture, and effectively lead customer, functional, and technical resources in the context of technical items, ensure quality processes and peer reviews are being followed, track and communicate status, anticipate/foresee risk, escalate, and implement mitigations; and finally ensure the technical scope is delivered on time and budget and meets our quality standards, resulting in referenceable customers. The lead is expected to perform as an advisor to the customer, provide guidance and direction, and maintain a good, valuable, and productive relationship.

Aside from a tech lead role on a project, capitalizing on their experience and skills, the candidate should be able to support sales pursuits, conduct technical discovery sessions, work with deals teams on solution design and estimation, and participate in sales presentations and orals showcasing our teams’ solutions, experience, and capabilities.

Additionally, the candidate should be able to contribute/lead innovation and initiatives in the context of our communities of practice and multi-functional teams.

  2. A foundational understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

  3. Oracle SaaS experience in Architecture, Data Migration, Integration, Reporting, and Extensions; including experience in ERP Cloud inbound and outbound capabilities.

  5. Deep experience in integration in general, demonstrated knowledge in platforms (preferably OIC), integration patterns, security, and processes

  12. Experience in creating/managing Fusion Applications

  13. Good understanding of creating PaaS services in OCI (Ex: OIC, ATP, VBs, Load balancers, VCNs, subnets, etc.)

  14. Functional skills

  15. Experience and clear understanding of functional concepts in SaaS modules in areas of expertise.

US: Hiring Range: from $88,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
