MADISON HUMAN RESOURCES EMS Training Coordinator* in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: General Description The Madison Fire Department is hiring an EMS Training Coordinator! This is responsible, professional and administrative work in the development, coordination, and implementation of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) services and programs in the Madison Fire Department (MFD). The work includes oversight of EMS training, supply/equipment logistics, event operations, data management, and quality assurance/improvement. Work involves considerable involvement in diverse inter-departmental and intra-departmental committee efforts and collaborations. This position will provide leadership to EMS Training Officers. The EMS Training Coordinator must exercise considerable judgment and discretion in meeting delegated program objectives. Associate\'s or Bachelor\'s degree in Business or Public Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, emergency services, public safety or a related field. If an applicant does not possess the specific requirements outlined above, HR will review the application materials to determine if the applicant possesses the following equivalent experience: Two (2) years of experience in applying the following: Program management principles, practices, and techniques. Emergency medical services and public safety principles, practices, and techniques. Computer software applicable to the duties of the position, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database management.
